Frequently Asked Questions

The questions that come up most often in our first conversations, and our answers.

What exactly does a managed service cover?

Setting up, running and monitoring the server, network, virtualization and backup layers around the clock. The team that responds to an incident is the team that built the system.

We want to keep our existing infrastructure. Does it still work?

Yes. We operate it in your data center, in ours, or across both. The transition is staged; nothing moves in the first phase.

Where is our data held?

In eight data centers across five cities. Which data sits in which facility is written into the contract, and it does not leave the country.

How quickly do we hear back when something breaks?

Service levels are set in the contract. At critical severity the first response is measured in minutes and the on-call engineer is reached directly; there is no call-center layer.

How is disaster recovery verified?

A drill is run at least twice a year and the result is reported. When you go into an audit, the evidence that recovery works is already prepared.

Do you help with our ISO 27001 process?

We cover the infrastructure-side requirements: access logs, separation of duties, immutable backups, and the reports an auditor will ask for.

How long is the contract?

The standard term is twelve months. Scope can grow during the year; a reduction takes effect in the following term.

Where do we start?

With an assessment of where you are. Within two weeks you get a written account of what works, what carries risk, and a prioritized roadmap.
